Isoplas Crosslinkable Polyethylene

Isoplas is an easily processable crosslinkable polyethylene (Pex-b)with exceptional resistance to large temperature changes, high pressure loading, UV light and contact with aggressive chemicals.

All year on the piste at Castleford Xscape Some 20,000 metres of the innovative PRONTO-PEX all plastic barrier pipe lies at the heart of the indoor snow slope in the sensational new £60 million Xscape Leisure Comlpex, which has just opened in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Enthusiastic skiers, boarders and bladers can now look forward to fun on the piste all the year round on the real thing - soft powder snow.

Two products are needed for the production of Isoplas, a Graft copolymer and a Catalyst Masterbatch. Several grades are available and our technical team will advise on the best grade, and which Catalyst masterbatch is most suitable for your particular application. Many modified formulations have been developed for specialist areas including adhesives and coatings.
